We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our Global Finance Operations team. The position will be based in our Headquarters in Gothenburg.
As the Financial Controller you will be an integral part of our Swedish operations. You will be working close with local operational management, but also with central functions. The Financial Controller is the on-site Finance responsible interacting in a larger Finance and cross-functional network. You will be part in building the future Finance and be able to develop in an international environment with possibility to work globally. Currently, the Finance department at Vitrolife Group is embarking on an exciting transformation journey and you will have an amble opportunity to take an active role in this one of a kind opportunity.
You will be responsible for:
- Prepare monthly reporting & financial analysis and control
- Prepare statutory accounts of the Swedish legal entities
- Manage and co-ordinate audits, tax audits and filings
- Adhere to and deploy policies, procedures and internal controls
- Managing and overseeing supporting accounting operations
- Ensure compliance with regulations
- Tax calculations & reporting
- Pro-actively drive for data, analysis, automation and process improvements
- Actively contribute in projects and business initiatives linked to your responsibility area
Competence requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
- At least 8 years of experience in an accounting, auditing or finance role
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Proactive, collaborative and problem-solving
- Experience from cross-cultural collaboration and communication
- Knowledge In Excel, Qlik, BI or other tools
- Fluent In English and Swedish
- Meritorious Spanish
The role is primarily an on-site role in Gothenburg. You will be reporting to Head of Global Finance Operations.
