Do you want to bring your business knowledge and proactive approach into play as you support the management team in Ramboll Transport’s division Road Survey Technology (RST) to reach their goals?

RST is an entrepreneurial part of Ramboll that focuses on Road Scanning but also data handling and analysis for big infrastructure clients. RST buys and leases vehicles that they rebuild for this purpose and develop and maintain software to perform the road scanning. RST operates primarily in Sweden but also internationally.

To thrive in this role, gaining acceptance from your stakeholders is crucial, establishing yourself as an integral component of their business and contributing significantly to daily operations. A prerequisite for the role is thus to comprehend and have experience in this type of business operation or comparable ones.

You will join Business Finance
Business Finance delivers Business partnering, Business controlling and Project controlling with 30 employees based in Stockholm. As our new Business controller, you will report to the Business Controlling Manager. Your workplace will be in Stockholm with occasional trips to Malmö.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Implement a financial setup aligned to the business model in collaboration with the division leadership team and global stakeholders
  • Translate financial position into realistic forecasts and establish actions and measurable targets to enhance financial return
  • Support management with risk-based assessments on key revenue and/or cost streams
  • Continuous improvements of financial processes and controls with focus on projects
  • Coordinate and supervise the monthly closing process, including management reporting
  • Contribute with financial expertise for large bids in division
  • Strategic and financial simulations in connection with major investment decisions

  • A Master or Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, or similar
  • Solid understanding of project financial management - ideally within the engineering industry
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience from financial planning and business controlling
  • Fluent in English and proficient Swedish
