Textile waste is a growing global challenge. Syre’s mission is to decarbonize and dewaste textiles, starting with the world's biggest fiber, polyester. By implementing true textile-to-textile recycling at hyperscale, we want to drive the transition from a linear to a circular value chain by putting textile waste to use, over and over again.

Are you a tech-savvy Business Controller eager to make a real impact? Then come and join us at Syre in our mission to drive the great textile shift You will be instrumental in developing and implementing a robust Financial Planning & Analysis structure to support the hyper-scaling of Syre’s global manufacturing business. Your primary responsibility will be to develop FP&A and to drive a high standard of financial discipline, decision support, and accountability across the organization by leveraging data-driven insights to directly influence strategic decisions.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • FP&A : Develop the Financial Planning, Analysis, and Forecasting for Syre, encompassing the build-up of manufacturing plants, supply chain and operations.
  • Data Management : Play an active role in designing the finance, operations and supply chain master data structure in order to capitalize on data across business domain
  • Technology & Tools : Play an active role in the selection and implementation of ERP, FP&A, BI and data management tools
  • Financial Reporting : Prepare and present financial reports, variance analysis, and performance metrics to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Business Partner : Conduct ad hoc financial analysis, providing clear and actionable insights derived from data analysis and provide financial guidance throughout the organization

We would prefer if you

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Industrial Economics, or Engineering
  • Have proven experience in business controlling, financial controlling or related consulting role
  • Have exceptional skills in Excel. Experience of working with ERP systems, FP&A, Data Management and BI tools (type Alteryx, Knime, Qlick, Power BI) is a plus
  • Have a genuine interest in programming and some experience of any or a combination of Python, SQL, Data visualization or Machine Learning
  • Have outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Are fluent in English both orally and in writing (professional English required)

You will be reporting into the CFO and be located in Stockholm, Sweden.
