Job title: Release Manager

Location: Malmo, Sweden( Hybrid)

Duration: 6-12 month contract

 

 

The scope of the Release Manager is:

 

Responsible for activities necessary to plan, package, and deploy releases involving multiple product teams and to ensure that necessary quality aspects have been fulfilled .
Responsible for execution of releases and communicating progress to stakeholders.
Ensure test plan, deployment plan , and environment plan are in place.
Manage dependencies related to release.
Ensure that the agreed release schedule is implemented . Escalate or mitigate any delays that may impact the release plans
Ensure that quality criteria are met, and process followed. Ensure that the release scope is clarified, aligned , and communicated to all stakeholders .
Guide, support and enable continuous improvement activities related to release management.

 

Desired knowledge, experience, competence, skills etc.

 

* Senior background in technical project or program management within agile software development

* Experience in global rollout programs or business critical launch events.

* Someone who values simplicity and clear communication

* Interpersonal skills focused on collaboration, building links and relationships within diverse teams, across the organization

* Willing to take on a high degree of responsibility to bridge the gap between teams and organizations.
* Good in people communication and understanding the big picture to get focus and attention on critical issues
