As the Product Marketing Lead at PMG, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the marketing strategy for our pet marketplace platform. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive PMM plans to primarily drive user activation, engagement, and retention. Working closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering and trust&safety, you will ensure alignment between product development and marketing efforts to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead our PMM area: Develop and execute product marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention for our pet marketplace platform.
Product Expertise: Collaborate with the product team to understand key product features, benefits, and target audience insights to inform marketing initiatives.
User Research: Be obsessed with understanding our users and their needs, and leveraging those insights into your PMM work
Communication: Create compelling messaging and positioning for our platform, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.
Production: Lead the development of marketing collateral, including website content, product guides etc together with our designers
Analysis: Analyse performance metrics and user feedback to optimize campaigns and improve overall effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (>4 years) in product marketing, preferably from a marketplace business
A deep understanding for marketing-relevant technologies such as CRM systems, analytics tools etc.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messaging for different target audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and drive consensus in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to measure marketing performance and make data-driven decisions.
Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a customer-centric approach to product marketing.
