To be successful as Enterprise Architect you have proven advanced experience in information technology, computer science or equivalent. You have vast working experience in leading business transformative change, preferably in the omni-channel retail context. We believe you have minimum of 5 years of experience from product and engineering organizations in a leading position and minimum of 10 years of experience in building internet facing distributed systems. Likewise a proven Enterprise Architecture responsibility stretching across larger areas in a company with global stretch and worked with senior leadership.

We see that you have a strategic and holistic mindset being able to drive change hence:
  1. Drive and influence common purpose with senior stakeholders up to board level.
  2. Work outcome-led and drive architecture change for a domain setting its strategic direction managing trade-offs with common purpose.
  3. Extensive knowledge in developing architectures for massive internet scale.
  4. Solve deep technical problems and with extensive digital transformation experience drive the needed architecture shift to meet digital opportunities and enable new business models.
  5. Deep knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, omnichannel and retailing.
  6. Lead and motivate teams of technologists.
  7. Vast experience having led product engineering and architecture teams.
  8. The ability to collaborate with marketing, data & analytics, and the various product teams to drive the business strategies and outcomes.
  9. Familiarity with Product information management and Content management systems.
  10. Deep understanding of various marketing technologies, including CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, Advertising tech, and analytics tools.
  11. Proficiency in leveraging MarTech tools that includes measuring social media tools, user-generated content, search engine marketing, SEO optimization tools, and campaign management to enable business-to-business and business-to-customer relationships.
  12. Expertise in integrating the different marketing technologies with the retail ecosystem to enable seamless Marketing/CRM/Personalization activities.
  13. Experience with one of the enterprise marketing tech platforms (such as Adobe, Salesforce, Oracle, Google, etc.).
  14. Applied knowledge of marketing concepts and customer journeys to help align marketing technology solutions with marketing goals, strategies, & objectives plus map the alignment to organization's business strategy.
Your responsibilities
As an Enterprise Architect, you are part of the Enterprise Architecture leadership team and will be part of developing the technology landscape across IKEA and be part of setting the course with strategic direction, principles and standards that enable guidance for the organization. You will have responsibility for the Growth & Marketing Digital area, covering Growth planning, Range, Sales steering, Pricing, Content management, CRM, Personalization, Membership, Rewards, Commercial activation & launches that includes Campaign management, Digital communications, Traffic generation, SEO and SEM with its architecture and people manage a team of Technology Architects.
Your personality allows you to manage a diverse set of senior stakeholders up to board level to ensure reaching both short- and long-term goals.

In this role you are:
  1. Responsible for defining the strategic architecture, legacy coexistence and where capabilities should be implemented to ensure end-to-end flows and avoid costs in duplicate implementations.
  2. Lead and develop the strategic architecture perspective on roadmap and prioritizations of the domain work and its consequences in order to reach the company's strategic outcomes.
  3. Drive and develop the Enterprise Architecture practices and apply the architecture guardrails through the product and engineering teams in order to empower them at scale.
  4. Drive, lead and resolve the big and hard problems that are common across teams in the IKEA value chain.
  5. Resolve architecture topics in significant landscape changes affecting the sub-domain.
  6. Provide the architecture perspective on roadmap and prioritizations in the area, its consequences and impact to reach the Sub-domain strategies and outcomes.
  7. Lead, inspire, develop and manage co-workers in order to secure a high performing team and promote growth.
  8. Partner with Product, Engineering, Data and Digital Experience leaders to drive transformative change to meet the strategic outcomes.
  9. Evolve the Growth planning, Martech, Retail Range, & Content architecture by being adaptable and staying connected to the industry trends.
  10. Drive the overall architecture view with deliberate consideration of the long-term implication of technology choices and the strategic vision for the evolution of the growth and marketing technology.
  11. It is preferred if you have experience in Marketing technologies in the context of Omni Channel retailing.
