Position Overview:
As a Sales Support Manager in the Product Support area at Berg Propulsion, you will play a vital role in developing our capabilities to ensure continued growth through increasing capabilities and capacities serving our customers. You will collaborate closely with our regional sales offices across the globe and cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Sales, Supply Chain, and Sales Support, to reach objectives and exceed customer expectations. Your exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills will be instrumental in managing both the team and the sales challenges adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will lead a team of seven employees, overseeing and managing after-sales support for Europe and the Americas, while reporting directly to the Product Support Director.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Sales Support team within the Product Support area, ensuring successful delivery of after-sales services, spare parts, and customer support initiatives.
- Be an active participant and contributor in the Product Support management team, driving the development of Berg Propulsion.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and allocate resources accordingly.
- Monitor operational and project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and proactively address issues to ensure timely and successful deliveries.
- Foster strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing proactive support to drive customer satisfaction.
- Track and report team and specific project performance and metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders and reporting lines.
- Continuously improve operations and processes required to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Relevant previous experience in managing sales activities and teams in an international after-sales organization.
- Previous experience as a leader or Project Manager/Coordinator with leadership skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders' expectations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pace situations.
- Results-oriented mindset with a customer focus and delivering initiatives and projects on time and within budget.
