To power AirForestry's fossil free forestry future, we've just closed a 10M round led by Northzone, a global $4b multi-stage VC fund, with their GP Pär-Jörgen Pärson joining our board.
Position: Head of FinanceAs AirForestry's Head of Finance, you'll be at the forefront of steering our financial future, reporting to the CEO. From financial operations to optimizing fundraising, project financing, and investor relations, your expertise will be critical in scaling up.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
- Overseeing the finance function, driving AirForestry's financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting ensuring we deliver on our goals.
- Guiding AirForestry on the financial effects of different approaches in our business model, customer and supplier agreements.
- Working with the CEO and team on techno-economic analysis in relation to our product, customers and investors.
- Leading the process to make AirForestry bankable and to secure further non-dilutive financing, working closely with relevant stakeholders, such as the Executive Chair, CEO, CCO, and Head of Marketing.
- Together with the Executive Chairman and CEO, executing a successful next fundraise.
- Delivering clear business objectives regarding environmental benefits together with our Business Development team.
You have:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience, e.g. as a management consultant within the finance sector and then as a key player in an in-house finance or analytics function.
- Experience in high-growth/scaling environments, ideally within startups or scale-ups.
- Experience in obtaining venture financing and/or non-dilutive financing such as EU grants, loans, and/or biodiversity credits.
- A relevant degree in finance, financial mathematics, economics, or a related field.
- Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
