The Project:

For this role, the consultancy is collaborating with a leading global e-commerce company to implement and test a SAP solution that will help drive the client's digital transformation efforts. This project will focus on enhancing business processes, increasing operational efficiency, and supporting the e-commerce company's rapid growth.

About the Role:

As a Senior SAP Tester, you'll play a key role in ensuring the functionality, performance, and seamless integration of SAP solutions, working closely with the consultancy and their e-commerce client. Your contributions will be critical in validating and optimizing the systems that support the client's e-commerce platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Testing SAP solutions end-to-end, ensuring high performance, superior user experience, and flawless system integration.
  2. Designing and executing detailed test cases, documenting results, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during testing.
  3. Collaborating with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure alignment with both business and technical requirements.
  4. Conducting performance and integration testing to validate the scalability and stability of SAP systems, especially for high-traffic e-commerce environments.
  5. Utilizing automated testing tools to increase testing efficiency and repeatability.
  6. Reporting defects and risks clearly to project stakeholders, ensuring timely issue resolution and project progress.
  7. Advising on SAP testing best practices and contributing to the successful implementation of the project phases, from pre-production through to go-live.
  8. Troubleshooting system issues and performing root cause analysis to resolve problems efficiently.

Who We're Looking For:

  1. Previous experience working with SAP, with a focus on testing in enterprise environments.
  2. Strong expertise in manual and automated testing for SAP solutions, with experience in performance testing and integration testing.
  3. Proficiency with SAP and Java-based testing tools.
  4. Experience in e-commerce systems is a plus, as this role involves working with high-traffic, customer-facing SAP systems.
  5. A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively with both business and technical teams.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, particularly in complex scenarios.
  7. Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical issues and results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  8. SAP Certification is desirable, though not essential.
  9. Experience with Agile methodologies is beneficial.
