As our new aircraft engineer or mechanic, you will be based at Arlanda airport and report to the Base Station Manager ARN. All positions are on a shift plan rotation where most of our workload is based at night, although we are manned 24/7 365 days a year. Our main tasks are the execution of maintenance on Norwegian's fleet. Problems must be solved quickly, under pressure and at the same time meet our requirements for documentation and traceability of parts.

Our organization performs line & base maintenance on B737NG and B737MAX aircraft. We have a total of 6 maintenance bases in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark and a staff of 230 technicians and mechanics. Our base in Sweden is located at Arlanda and consists of more than 50 technicians and mechanics and are now looking for new additions

Responsibility:
You will be executing maintenance tasks in accordance with plan and maintenance manuals, as well as recording all work in our IT-based maintenance management system. As our new aircraft engineer or mechanic, you will also be responsible for recording and tracking all changed parts regarding traceability. We also expect our employees to maintain control of all tools and have safety as a priority.

This job will be for you if:

  1. You have EASA Part 66 Certificate B1 / B2 (Complete B1.1 Basic Training for Mechanics)
  2. You have driver License Class B
  3. You have good IT skills
  4. You have strong English language skills
  5. You must have a clean criminal record, resident five years or more in an EU or EFTA state

It would be an advantage if you have certification on B737 NG/MAX, are fluent in at least one Scandinavian language, and have the ability to work in multi-cultural teams. We are looking for someone with high integrity, that is able to cope with unpredictable workloads and operate under pressure. Communication is key when working with aircraft maintenance.
