About the area

The goal of Range experience is to make it easy for the many to design a better everyday life at home. We run and develop digital solutions used by customers and co-workers enabling them to design and visualize homes and home furnishing solutions for the entire IKEA range for all IKEA retailers. Our customers should experience an inspiring, fun, simple and rewarding planning journey based on their needs and the IKEA home furnishing knowledge. Our co-workers and service partners should experience a fun, efficient and unbroken sales process.

The solutions and capabilities we develop are an integral part of the entire seamless buying and selling experience and a key contributor to converting visitors into happy customers and to engaging with our customers from the start. Utilizing data around and about our products to create more personalized experiences is an integral part of the work we do.

Range experience provides solutions to all IKEA retailers spanning over 50 markets worldwide and over 450 stores and IKEAs digital and physical channels. All solutions are made to help customers and co-workers in all customer meetings, from a mobile phone to the largest IKEA store in the world.

Job Description

About You

As a Digital Product Area Manager, for Range Experience, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of digital products and solutions that enable customers and co-workers to configure and combine home furnishing solutions and design any space and activity in their homes and businesses across all the full omni-experience.

You are responsible for creating a solid base of competencies needed for developing our digital capabilities and supporting both running business and future needs. You will lead, coach and develop a team of Digital Product Leaders, and ensure a developing culture and supportive atmosphere.

To be successful in this role, the following knowledge, skills and experiences would be valuable:

  • Solid experience as a Product Leader in developing digital products and you have a proven track record of successful digital solutions.
  • Knowledgeable in agile principles and ways of working with e.g. UX, digital product strategy, digital product visions, and data-driven decision making.
  • Strong ability to communicate and act as a communication bridge between diverse business and digital competences.
  • Strong capability to visualize concepts and ideas to build understanding and agreement on the way forward.
  • Extensive knowledge in how to create high performing autonomous teams that are aligned towards a clear digital product vision, and working with relevant disciplines such as discovery, UX, and data informed decision making.
  • Ability to lead, coach, inspire and empower digital product teams to be optimized for the desired outcomes.
  • Ability to build strong relations with peers and stakeholders, comfortable with complex prioritization and situations, and cross functional leadership.
  • Ability to, in an excellent way, communicate, facilitate, listen actively, build networks, and inspire others.
  • Good knowledge about the IKEA strategies, processes and the digital landscape.

Additional Information
