The QMS Compliance Leader is responsible for overseeing and maintaining our site Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

This role involves leading compliance initiatives and providing guidance to the QA team, as well as other functions at the site, to uphold our quality standards.

This position reports to the Site QA Director and is part of the Quality Assurance team located in Umeå and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:
  1. Maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Identify areas for improvement within the QMS and implement corrective actions.
  3. Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality and compliance objectives are met.
  4. Take part in global QMS forums, as well as leading local review board.
Who you are:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, Life Sciences).
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management and compliance.
  3. Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP).
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Fluent in Swedish and English in writing and speech.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  1. Internal and external audits.
