Your RoleWe are looking for an inclusive and inspiring leader to take responsibility for a team working with integration and verification of Electronic Warfare systems at Fighter Core Capability Design.
As a manager, you will play a key role in fostering an environment where innovation, collaboration, and professional growth thrive. You will be responsible for the team's development and results, including budget management, resource and competence planning, and ensuring a sustainable and engaging work environment for your employees.
You will work closely with other managers and project leaders to build strong, high-performing teams that make a real impact. The team consists of around 15 dedicated professionals working with system integration and verification of EW systems.
You will be a part of the Fighter Core Capability (FCC) business unit, which provides innovative systems and services that utilise the electromagnetic spectrum for protection, detection, location and monitoring. It also provides tools for intelligence analysis of the information gathered.
The Integration and Verification section is organized within the System Test Design department. The System Test Design department is responsible for system integration and verification. We also have responsibility to develop test equipment and software systems needed for integration and verification. You will be part of System Test Design leadership team, a great team at work, with genuine interest in those we lead.
Your profileYou have a coaching leadership and build relationships within the organization. You have the ability to drive change and progress. You have an interest to lead change and work with continuous improvement of our test engineering methods. You know that test is an important and integrated part of product development.
Required skills:
- A genuine interest to lead and coach people

- Appropriate professional or postgraduate qualification

- Understanding of test automation benefits and challenges

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
