Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category strategies in line with the overall Duni Group´s strategy and sustainability agenda.

  1. Calculate and analyze cost break downs, as well as propose methods for reducing costs.
  2. Negotiate and secure attractive agreements and ensure that suppliers are constantly challenged.
  3. Analyse markets, trends, risks and opportunities and identify potential news sources that fit Duni Group's agenda.
  4. Manage, develop and potentially expand the supplier base, including supplier evaluations and supplier consolidation.
  5. Participate / drive various (material) development projects to assure "Design to Cost".
  6. Constantly strive for improving and developing the strategic sourcing team's way of working to assure a best-in-class function.

The position is full-time and located at our headquarters in Malmö. You will be part of our international sourcing team together with 8 other Sourcing Managers located at our four production units in Sweden, Germany, and Poland. You will report to our Sourcing Director (located in Malmö). There will be travel primarily to Europe for about 50-60 days (25 overnight stays) per year, ensuring that our partnerships bring us to the next level.

Who are you?

You are an action-driven person with a lot of self-drive and commitment. You have a strategic and strong analytic mindset, and you don't mind the operational work since you have the main responsibility for your suppliers' performance. You excel in communication and collaboration, working closely with your team colleagues cross-site as well as cross-functional (production managers, product technicians, project managers, planners, and suppliers).

You have a university degree, probably a Master of Science (Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering), and at least 2-3 years of relevant strategic sourcing experience at an international company. Experience from an international manufacturing industry is an advantage. In previous positions, you have gained the knowledge of working with international suppliers, learned from mistakes, and are now secure enough in yourself to challenge the Duni Group supplier base to secure attractive and competitive agreements.

For this role, communication is the key to success, and since you will work in an international environment, you need to be fluent in English.
