About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to join our international sourcing team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, with a proven track record of delivering cost savings and improving supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives
  • Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improvement
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure attractive agreements
  • Manage and develop the supplier base, including evaluations and consolidation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive material development projects and ensure 'Design to Cost'
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the strategic sourcing team's way of working

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in an international environment. You will be fluent in English and have a university degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing is required, with a strong background in working with international suppliers.
