This role is based in Stockholm with the expectation of working from the office a few days a week.

As a Senior Data Analyst specializing in Decision Analytics, you will leverage advanced analytical techniques and data-driven methods to provide comprehensive insights into business performance across the entire organization. Your deliveries will guide impactful decision-making by taking into account complex dependencies of various business areas. You will work independently and proactively, identifying analytics needs throughout the company and scoping initiatives to deliver tangible value from data.

This role emphasizes close collaboration with both fellow Data Analysts and Data Scientists, as well as senior stakeholders across all departments, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that directly impact strategic decisions and fuel growth. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Act as a strategic partner to stakeholders across product, marketing, sales, and music teams, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage data for business improvement.

  • Develop and deliver compelling data narratives that translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights, fostering a data-driven culture throughout the organization.

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide a holistic view of business performance, enabling stakeholders to track key metrics and make informed decisions.

  • Conduct in-depth analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing strategic recommendations that drive growth and optimize business processes.

  • Use advanced analytics and statistical methods to analyze complex data sets and extract valuable insights.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years of experience in a data analysis role, with a proven track record of delivering impactful business insights.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, and Python/R for data analysis.

  • Experience with git version control, data modeling (eg. dbt) and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and working with large datasets and cloud-based data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery).

  • Experience in a role that required heavy interaction with non technical team members, and the successful translation of complex data to those teams.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively translate complex data into clear and concise narratives for diverse audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering practical and actionable recommendations.

  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and methods, including hypothesis testing and regression analysis.

  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a passion for driving business value through data.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Nice to have:

  • Experience in the music or entertainment industry, with a strong understanding of content licensing and digital rights management.
