We announced the opening of our Stockholm, Sweden office in March 2024 to support our growing client base and operations in the market and the wider Nordic region. Sweden is already an important location for our Construction, Projects and Assets (CP&A) business, where we advise employers, contractors and law firms on construction projects to help them better understand and resolve claims and disputes that often occur in large infrastructure developments.

What You'll Do

As part of our newly established CP&A practice, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging projects in the region. We provide unparalleled expertise to help our clients resolve disputes, improve construction project delivery, and develop processes that ensure improved schedules and project financial performance.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading significant portions of CP&A Consulting projects across the practice that may include strategic plans, organizational assessments, capability maturity assessments of project and asset management capabilities, market analysis, digital transformation, asset management, and organizational change management.
2. Providing subject matter expertise and guidance on a range of projects and/or asset management functions including growth capital, sustaining capital, construction, maintenance, shutdowns, turnarounds, and outages, decommissioning, etc.
3. Building relationships with all appropriate stakeholders and key leads in various areas to ensure overall project success.
4. Providing subject matter expertise to drive best practice-based solutions on Project and Portfolio Management processes and/or Project Management Information Systems.
5. Performing project delivery process assessments, defining requirements, and developing processes for project and/or portfolio strategy and planning, project risk management, project management, and supporting functional areas.
6. Developing client-facing materials with Microsoft Office products, using skill in PowerPoint to turn textual information into compelling and cohesive stories, articulating an argument and using easily understood graphics.
7. Developing engagement specific approaches to Training and Organizational Change Management.
8. Seeking new, different, and innovative ways to leverage existing and new consulting capabilities to improve performance, improve business results, and create buy-in and commitment within client organizations – pushing the boundaries and capabilities of our integrated delivery teams.
9. Mentoring, coaching, and training CP&A Consultants/Senior Consultants.
10. In addition to the above, take sole responsibility for the preparation and delivery of claim/expert reports.
11. Present findings and obtain feedback from the client.
12. Manage the input of others as necessary to complete the task.
13. Take responsibility for service delivery and fee proposals as well as budget control.

What You Will Need to Succeed

Basic Qualifications

• Master's degree or degree equivalent in mechanical, energy, or industrial engineering.
• Native or full professional working proficiency level in a Nordic language. Professional working proficiency in English language.
• A minimum of 10 years and up to 20 years professional experience in engineering, manufacturing, or contracting.
• A strong interest in and inspired by the business model of consulting, with a desire to apply its principles to drive organizational success.
• A well-established network within Sweden's industry and energy markets.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing, reviewing, and presenting expert reports, with a strong ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings clearly and concisely for various stakeholders, including legal, regulatory, and business environments.
