Marketing Content Creator (English)

Overall Role Objective:

To develop and execute a content strategy that drives organic traffic, generates sign ups, and supports the company's organic marketing growth goals. You will also assist the product team in communicating important updates.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Content Strategy & Planning (25%): Together with the Head of Marketing, you will define the overarching content strategy, outlining key themes, target audiences, and campaign goals. The Content Creator will play a crucial role in shaping the specific content pieces within this framework.
  2. Content Calendar Development: Create and maintain a content calendar that aligns with marketing objectives and target audience interests, ensuring consistent and timely publishing.
  3. Content Ideation & Brainstorming: Generate creative content ideas that resonate with the target audience and support marketing campaigns.
  4. Competitive Analysis: Research competitor content and identify opportunities to differentiate our content and stand out in the market.
  5. Content Creation & Production (65%): You'll be responsible for producing high-quality written content, including blog posts, ebooks, website copy, social media captions, and email marketing materials. While strong visual content creation skills are a significant advantage, the Head Designer / Art Director will be available to assist in the development of visual assets.
  6. Blog Post Writing: Write engaging and informative blog posts on a variety of topics related to our industry and target audience needs. This task involves not just writing content from scratch but interviewing and sourcing drafts from others in the company to share with our audience.
  7. Ebook & White Paper Creation: Develop in-depth ebooks and white papers on specific topics to generate leads and establish thought leadership.
  8. Social Media Content Creation: Create engaging social media content (posts, captions, visuals) that drives engagement and brand awareness.
  9. Email Marketing Content: Assist in developing email marketing content (newsletters, promotional emails, automated sequences) that nurtures leads and drives conversions.
  10. Content Promotion & Distribution (10%): You'll be responsible for scheduling posts across our social media platforms and ensuring proper distribution through relevant email newsletters and other applicable channels. The Content Creator will play a key role in preparing the content for distribution, including crafting engaging social media captions and email subject lines.
  11. Social Media Promotion: Promote content across various social media platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
  12. Email Marketing Distribution: Distribute content to email subscribers through targeted campaigns.
  13. Outreach & Link Building: Identify and reach out to relevant influencers and websites to promote content and build backlinks.
  14. Content Repurposing: Repurpose existing content into different formats (e.g., blog posts into infographics, webinars into blog posts) to maximize its value.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Content Creator:
  1. Website Traffic (Organic): Increase in organic traffic to the company website.
  2. Organic Sign Ups: Number of leads generated through content marketing efforts.
  3. Content Quality: Quality of content as measured by engagement, readability, and accuracy.
Expectations:
  1. Creativity: Ability to generate ideas and create content.
  2. Writing Skills: Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  3. Content Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with content marketing strategies and tactics.
  4. Experience writing content with compelling calls to action to influence customer behaviour and drive conversions from prospect to paying customer.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  6. Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  7. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and feedback.
  8. Results oriented: You care about the outcome of your work and make sure it serves a purpose.
  9. Organised & structured: Ability to manage your own projects and deliver.
  10. Productive & a self-starter: Able to get things done when needed in a fast paced growing SaaS environment.
Requirements:
  1. Native level English
  2. Excellent communication and writing skills
  3. 3 - 5+ years of experience in marketing or relevant field
  4. Experience working in SaaS preferred
  5. Able to provide examples of previous content that has driven measurable results.
