Who you will work with:
You will be a part of our dynamic IT Team in Garpenberg, collaborating closely with colleagues across various departments. Working with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that business needs are translated into actionable digital solutions. You will also partner with Boliden Group and external experts to stay ahead of industry developments, sharing and implementing best practices to continuously improve the operation.

What you will do:
As a Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and managing digitalization roadmaps for different sections of the operation, aligning them into an overarching plan for Garpenberg Mine.
  • Leading and coordinating digitalization projects and their successful execution.
  • Implementing solutions to improve business processes, such as developing new systems, applications, reports, and integrations.
  • Managing and supporting the implementation of group-wide systems and ensuring data is managed and reported efficiently.
  • Working with various teams to implement operational improvements, driving data usage and empowering better decision-making.
  • Assisting with training plans to ensure that users are equipped to effectively work with new systems.
  • Continuously looking for opportunities to streamline operations and create value through innovative solutions.

The position requires that you can be present at the office in Garpenberg some days a week.

What you bring (competence):

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline with relevant experience.
  • Experience with SQL databases, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of Aveva Pi and integration platforms like MQTT is a bonus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills, with the ability to drive change in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to translate business challenges into practical and effective technical solutions.
  • Demonstrate behaviors in line with Boliden's core values: Care, Responsibility, Courage.
  • A proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable approach to work, with a focus on delivering results.
