About the team
Software and smart solutions is a cornerstone of solving the bottlenecks in the power system and Ingrid Capacity's company strategy. Our Ingrid Technology teams build and maintain software for grid analyses and simulations, power trading and optimization algorithms to maximize efficiency within the grid. We also focus on creating a data-driven culture by building data pipelines and a Business Intelligence layer to provide stakeholders with actionable insights. Our team plays a key role in driving strategic decision-making and overall company success, and we work closely together to ensure a smooth transition of ideas from concept to reality. About the Role
We are on the lookout for a Data Driven Grid Lead for working on our products that support the future power system. We are working on both toolsuites for grid operators, internal simulation products, and dynamic dashboarding and visuals across the company. You will be at the forefront of crafting intuitive and powerful user interfaces that drive innovation and efficiency for the Ingrid Tech team. This role involves developing robust and engaging front-end solutions, ensuring seamless integration with back-end systems, and collaborating closely with the rest of the Ingrid Tech team and other business units to deliver cohesive and user-centric tools. You will have the opportunity to lead impactful design and development projects that align with our mission to shape the energy system of the future. Harness a diverse range of technologies to enhance user experience and optimize workflows across our data solutions, machine-learning capabilities, and software suite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize the product roadmap for solutions designed to support the power grid, leveraging data and machine learning technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including engineers, data scientists, and end users, to gather requirements and align product goals with business objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the product, translating complex technical concepts into actionable features and user stories.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and design to development, launch, and ongoing optimization.
  • Evaluate and incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to refine product features and improve usability.
  • Monitor market trends, user needs, and advancements in data science and machine learning to inform product strategy.
  • Ensure all deliverables are aligned with the overarching mission to optimize power distribution and modernize grid operations.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, preferably in the energy sector or a technical domain.
  • Strong understanding of power systems, grid operations, or energy distribution.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and machine learning concepts and their application in solving real-world problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, bridging gaps between teams.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of regulatory requirements or industry standards in the power and energy sector.
