Job overview:

As a Production Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to meet customer deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards and minimizing waste. You will work closely with the production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure optimal resource utilization and timely delivery of products.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines. Monitor and adjust workloads across machines and production teams to optimize efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure availability for production.
  • Collaborate with the procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Coordinate with the production team to allocate resources, including machinery, labor, and materials.
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
  • Monitor and adjust planning as needed to meet changes and solve problems, such as quality- and delivery challenges.
  • Communicate with sales and customer service teams to provide updates on order status and resolve any issues.
  • Daily planning of transport with logistics and customer service.
  • Prepare reports on production performance, including output, efficiency, and waste.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve planning processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Your background:

To thrive in the role of Production Planner, you need to be flexible, meticulous and solution-focused, and have the ability to see new opportunities. You are interested in learning new things and have very good teamwork skills and thrive in a role where you can also work independently. You need to have the following skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • You are a structured communicative individual who enjoys working independently as well as in a team.
  • You have strong knowledge of production planning and inventory management principles.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • You have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You have proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Navision and Greycon) and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
