Stegra, formerly know as H2 Green Steel, is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. Demand Planner / S&OP

In the role of Demand Planner / S&OP you'll work with managing the commercial planning process, ensuring accurate demand forecasting and seamless alignment with operational planning. This role supports account managers in forecasting customer demand, collaborates with production planning to balance commercial priorities, and monitors key performance indicators for continuous improvement. Additionally, the position involves translating planning outcomes into order recruitment plans and working with the order execution team to address any discrepancies. The Demand Planner will also support digital enhancements in demand forecasting and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the commercial planning process to ensure efficiency, timeliness, and alignment with operational planning.
- Maintain and update the statistical forecasting process to support an accurate unconstrained sales forecast.
- Train and support account managers in forecasting unconstrained customer demand.
- Collaborate with the production planning team in S&OP balancing to align commercial strategies with short- and long-term capacity constraints.
- Monitor and manage performance indicators for the commercial planning process and provide feedback for improvement.
- Develop and enhance demand forecasting processes in collaboration with the digital team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, mathematics or data science related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing industry in a planning related role, ideally linked with the steel supply chain
- Experience in developing and building IT systems a benefit
- Experience in indirect influencing and change management processes a benefit
- Strong knowledge of Demand Forecasting and S&OP processes required
- Fluency in English required, as well as strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
