By connecting to the Gilion platform, founders gain access to a comprehensive analytics tech stack right off the bat. Our platform provides stunning visualizations that narrate the story of their company, without the need for a single line of SQL or CSS. Historical data, coupled with Gilion's advanced forecasting capabilities, simulates future scenarios, offering a unique understanding of performance compared to relevant peers. What you'll do at Gilion

The tech team iterates fast. Being data nerds, we measure user behavior and verify our bets through user testing. We balance rapid iteration experiments with long-term strategic bets and continuous improvements to our infrastructure.

  • As a senior backend engineer at Gilion, you will be part of a cross functional product team working alongside other developers, designers and machine learning specialists.

  • You'll contribute to architectural decisions as part of a functional team working across the product teams.

  • Working hands on, developing micro services in Go or Python on our infrastructure built with Kubernetes, Docker, Github and GCP.

  • Experiment with new technologies, especially utilizing the latest machine learning applications, both to improve developer experience but also our products.

  • Take part in a low overhead, product development process where ideas go to production in days and deployments to production happen multiple times a day.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 5+ years of working as a professional software engineer

  • Experience of working in a cross functional team

  • An openness to learn and thrive in tackling a variety of problems that you might not have seen before.

  • A collaborative mindset where you leverage your colleagues expertise for coming up with a better solution together.

  • A leadership mindset or experience from leading initiatives or teams

While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:

  • A DevOps mindset and understanding of infrastructure and tooling

  • Experience with security, architecture and/or cloud technologies
