Job Description:

Instabee was founded in 2022 after combining Budbee and Instabox — two leading last-mile delivery companies with three consumer-facing brands: Budbee, Instabox and Porterbuddy. Instabee is present in six countries, serving thousands of online merchants, including ASOS, Zalando, Inditex and H&M and is on track to become the most admired European e-commerce enabler.

Since the start, Instabee has focused on consumer-centric and sustainable solutions, offering deliveries to boxes and homes using muscle power, electricity, renewable diesel and biofuels. Through bespoke technical solutions, Instabee can guarantee optimal fill rates and routing, minimising any unnecessary transports. Instabee is backed by Kinnevik, Creades and EQT, among others.

About the role

At Instabee, our Finance Tech team is a driving force behind the company's financial operations, ensuring everything runs with precision and efficiency. We are the bridge between operations, commerce and finance. Our mission is to power seamless money flows, optimize pricing strategies, and leverage technology to keep our financial ecosystem strong and future-ready. We don't just enable the business—we shape its profitability and financial success. Working closely with our commercial and financial teams, we integrate commercial tools with financial systems, ensuring that money moves efficiently and accurately across the company.

  1. Invoicing & Process Optimization – Ensure our invoicing runs smoothly and efficiently by refining existing workflows and eliminating errors.
  2. System Analysis & Improvement – Review and analyze our current systems to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.
  3. Quality & Reliability – Take ownership of system reliability, ensuring stability and high performance.
  4. Collaboration – Work cross-functionally with Finance, Commercial, and Product teams to integrate backend solutions seamlessly.
  5. Innovation & Development – Drive innovation and develop future-proof solutions that align with company goals.
  6. Staying curious – Stay updated on relevant technologies and evaluate how they can benefit our systems and workflows.

Your future team

The Finance Tech team operates with a high level of autonomy, empowering you to make a significant impact on our systems and processes. Your contributions will directly influence Instabee's ability to optimize revenue streams, strengthen financial operations, and maintain a cutting-edge financial infrastructure.

You'll work side by side with senior leaders across finance and Commercial teams, collaborating with Product and Engineering Managers to develop and advocate for innovative solutions. We expect you to bring bold ideas, strong reasoning, and a data-driven mindset to the table - because here, your voice matters.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience in a backend or fullstack role within a modern tech environment.
  • PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB experience (or equivalent database technologies).
  • Basic understanding of Terraform and Linux.
  • Familiarity with GCP.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
