JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Supply Chain Planner to join our growing team.

Supply Chain Planner

Are you ready to take the next step and be our new Supply Planner? You will be responsible for the flow of incoming finished goods to the warehouse/logistics centre.

You own your own range and, in close collaboration with the master planner and supplying factories, ensure correct stock levels.

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will drive improvement work within the Supply Chain with a focus on inventory planning, purchasing, delivery monitoring, and flow. You will act as the central hub between factories, logistics, and the market.

Your key contacts in your role:

Internally – local warehouse organization, producing JW factories, master planning department, Sales organization.
Externally – suppliers outside JW organization.

Your areas of responsibilities will be:
  1. Responsible for an assortment of items and ensuring correct stock levels.
  2. Analyze and optimize the stocked product mix.
  3. Actively work to challenge stock levels and order points.
  4. Collaborate with supplying factories to ensure timely deliveries.
  5. Analyze and actively work to improve our delivery performance, both internal and external.
  6. Work proactively to prevent delays and effectively communicate any delivery delays that occur.
  7. Collaborate within the team with a desire to constantly improve working methods and achieve results as well as develop as an individual.
  8. Proactively provide feedback to customers about any delays.
  9. Develop the information and material flow.
  10. Participate in terminal/distribution management meetings and follow-ups.
  11. Maintain our ERP system with necessary data.
  12. Have ongoing contact with your internal suppliers and external stakeholders.

Experiences to succeed:
  1. Experience in purchasing work and in a warehouse/distribution center.
  2. Good knowledge of the MS Office package, especially Microsoft Excel.
  3. Knowledge and experience in logistics/supply is advantageous.
  4. Experience with ERP systems.
  5. Good knowledge of Lean Production.
Language Skills:
  1. Good knowledge and skills in handling the English language, both orally and in writing.
  2. Good understanding of Scandinavian languages.
