The Absolut Brand Team is recruiting a Marketing Manager Product Portfolio & Innovation for a 12 month maternity cover. The role is based in Stockholm and reports to the Head of Product Portfolio & Innovation.

Joining us in this role means you will drive short and long-term sales and profitability for Absolut by acting as a portfolio strategist and supporting the team in shaping the overall portfolio and innovation strategy.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Shaping and Implementing the global innovation strategy and guardrails, while actively contributing to the refinement of these frameworks to ensure alignment with brand objectives. This includes supporting the development of adjacent product innovations (product, product story, description, assets, flavors and portfolio).
  • Playing a pivotal role in the strategic evolution of the existing Absolut product portfolio. This involves leading packaging design improvements, sustainable packaging, driving value-creation projects, and managing product restaging workstreams to optimize the brand's market position.
  • Be a brand and innovation guardianship vs global innovation team, and support development of adjacent innovation initiatives.
  • Project lead of product portfolio initiatives end-to-end and coordination of Ltd ed program incl. local limited editions and EOY. Support validation of strategic fit for all new Absolut innovations including spirits and RTDs. Workstream lead of current portfolio packaging & wet goods projects.
  • Initiate and lead global innovation projects end-to-end, including idea generation based on consumer insights to concept development including design and wet goods, business cases, industrialization, market experimentation and incubation and to ensure alignment and collaboration with key stakeholders and innovation teams. Analyse trends, market & consumer insights to help identify global business opportunities.
ABOUT YOU

We see you as a person who has a deep passion for consumer centric innovation development and experience of design development and realization. You have the ability to easily shift between strategic and executional areas of work with passion and ownership in linking strategic development to market implementation and business impact. You have a good drive and project management skills, combined with strong collaboration and stakeholders' management skills.

  • University degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar.
  • Minimum 6 years relevant business experience from the consumer goods sector in an international organization.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of Innovation and New Product Development experience.
  • Experience from working in a cross-functional organization and in cross-functional projects.
  • English spoken and written with great proficiency.
