Marketing Communications Manager – Maternity Cover

We are looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to contribute towards a dynamic marketing plan and develop communication initiatives with a 360 degree approach towards customers of the Nordic region.

You will have the opportunity to make a difference by developing and implementing the content strategy to position Getinge in all of its relevant target groups in ACT, SWIC, DHS and LS in the Nordic region.

You will collaborate with your team to share, build together and meet our goals, working flexibly with internal and external customers to identify and develop effective marketing communications.

As the Marketing Communications Manager, you will drive marketing value communications based on brand identity guidelines, tools and platforms whilst ensuring adaptation and application of the global marketing communication messages to the Nordic market needs.

One area of responsibility is event management, where you will support sales to successfully drive customer centricity and lead generation activities at exhibitions, congresses and Getinge hosted events.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Develop field marketing activities (ad placements, email campaign, sales support activities) by connecting to global content needs Proactively support Nordic Sales teams with Marketing Communications activities to drive sales activities, taking ownership of the regional marketing communication launch plan for product launches and product life cycle activities working as a project based organisation Plan, execute and control marketing communications at local events and congresses based on global guidelines Develop, manage, optimise appropriate content for websites, landing pages and social media including contribution to the editorial plan Drive content maintenance of existing marketing communication elements according to relevance (eg Website, Showpad) Define measurements and control progress (including contingency planning and metrics) Create regional content to drive value marketing communication based on the product value proposition Discover and implement highly valuable content in close collaboration with the global content counterparts and subject matter experts and derive marketing claims, messages and visualization Define target group, communication objectives and detail target markets by working collaboratively with North Europe Sales teams Secure input for internal communication activities in collaboration with Corporate Comms

Your Experience and Skills include:

Academic degree or equivalent within the area of business or marketing Proven background in marketing communication and event management Strong experience from working close to the market and proactively supporting regional sales team Knowledge and/or experience from the healthcare industry in Marketing Communications Excellence in English and Swedish, both written and spoken A stylistic ability with a good sense for look and feel and tonality Broad proficiency with publication design software: (illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat) Sound knowledge of office suite programs (Powerpoint, Word and Excel) in addition to web layout and content management tools (CRM, Pardot, Falcon, Showpad, or equivalent) Solid digital marketing knowledge and design experience in fast paced environment, at both strategic and operational level, including tactics and implementation Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and effectively manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines. Curiosity to learn and understand customer needs, and to develop marketing activities that facilitate lead generation. Up-to-date, integrative marketing, advertising and communication knowledge (incl. digital) on an international scope Creative and strong business driven mindset with a great ability to develop effective storytelling Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior level executives Capable of working with marketing communication agencies based on brand handbooks & guidelines

In this role, you may be required to travel to visit customers, other offices, and to support the sales process domestically and internationally.
