About this opportunity

Welcome to the Data risk team in Group operational risk We are now looking for new colleagues to work with us in helping Nordea to ensure that the risks associated data are managed and controlled throughout the data lifecycle.

Our team adds value with our constructive challenge and support for our colleagues in the First Line of Defense by building well controlled and designed solutions in a fast-changing environment. As a Lead Risk Expert you will play a valuable role in setting direction and positively influencing the First Line of Defense to manage Data risks.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leverage your knowledge and experience of data risks and controls to constructively challenge and proactively support our colleagues in the First Line of Defense;
  • Lead the development and implementation of data risk methodologies and frameworks;
  • Drive the development of risk indicators and monitoring of risk mitigation progress;
  • Lead oversight activities over Data risk;
  • Communicate and report to senior management on the key data risks and developments

You will join a talented team driving high quality and risk focused oversight activities for data risks.

Your experience and background:

  • Extensive experience working with operational risk management within the banking or financial services industry;
  • In depth understanding of data management and regulatory expectations with the area
  • You have a track record of successfully delivering projects
  • Superior level of spoken and written English;
  • You are flexible, open-minded and have a strong cultural awareness.
