About the job
This is a hands-on, operational role and our first marketing hire. Together with the management team, you will develop our marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and ultimately revenue growth. It will be your job to execute on these initiatives. It's therefore important that you feel comfortable with content and asset creation, as well as driving and implementing the daily flow of marketing activities.
This position requires demonstrable work experience in the financial services technology industry, ideally in software for analytics, risk and data management. The ideal candidate will be a highly self-motivated, creative, and data-driven professional with strong communication skills in English and Swedish.
This position reports to the company's Chief Commercial Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish the marketing strategy, plan and priorities for all markets, both tactically and long-term, to support current sales and revenue targets for existing and new customers.
- Lead content creation efforts to produce engaging and relevant materials. Collaborate with product and sales teams and external partners to develop content for various channels. Own the delivery of marketing assets, including short corporate and product videos, PDFs, thought leadership and case study material, and corporate slide decks.
- Manage our social media – primarily LinkedIn and Google ads
- Manage our website
- Plan and execute events/webinars to enhance brand visibility and international reach.
- Utilise data and analytics tools to measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 3+ years' experience in Product Marketing
- Preferably a Swedish speaker with strong English skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Hands on experience with content creation using Adobe CC, Canva, Camtasia and similar tools.
- This position requires demonstrable work experience in the financial technology industry, ideally in software for analytics, risk and data management.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM/HubSpot systems.
