We are now looking for an ambitious and self-driven Senior Credit Analyst or Credit Analyst to strengthen our Special Industries Credit & Rating Analysis team in Group Credit Management, Sweden. Welcome to Credit, Rating & ESG Analysis Special Industries in Group Credit Management We add value by being Nordea's competence centre for credit risk and rating analysis. Our purpose is to perform independent and high quality credit analysis, share industry expertise with our stakeholders and thereby add value in the credit process.

As the Credit Analyst you will play a valuable role in conducting credit analysis for a portfolio comprised of Nordea's largest real estate customers. You will be an important part of customer teams responsible for, among other tasks, new financing transactions and you will advise business areas on credit risk related issues in order to enable Nordea to do business in a prudent way.

What you will be doing:

  • Conduct risk adjusted credit analysis for a portfolio of corporate customers in LC&I Sweden or Business Banking Real Estate branch and provide up to date, relevant conclusions to facilitate the credit decision process
  • Monitor a portfolio of customers in order to identify early warning signals and ensure no surprises
  • Handle credit proposals related to new financing requests
  • Actively share industry knowledge and own objective view on credit risk with our stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with Client Executives and Relationship Managers in LC&I and BB, deal managers at Leverage Finance as well as Credit Managers in Group Credit Management



You will join a team of 7 highly competent and dedicated credit analysts, who take a high degree of ownership for their tasks, handle complex credit risk analysis with passion and courage and collaborate closely with our stakeholders.

This is a internal substitution position for 1 year. The poisition is located in Stockholm

Your experience and background:

  • Professional skills in interpreting and analysing financial information
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Swedish
  • You have at minimum 2 years of experience within credit analysis, previous experience within real estate credit analysis is an advantage
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other relevant field
