The Market Analyst Internship will report to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Intelligence & Planning Europe . This position will play a key supporting role in the success and growth of Cepheid's marketing capabilities. This role will interact with management, EMEA Marketing, Global market analytics and EMEA sales teams. The role is meant for an internship or temp. contract for 6 - 9 months months.

This position is part of the Marketing department and will be remote. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Support market analysis and market assessment for the molecular market in Europe and Middle East Africa using market reports, internal CRM data and other external databases.
• Support market penetration project in collaboration with regional Marketing Leads to support the marketing strategy.
• Assist in other various market research and marketing activities: summarizing market reports, supporting secondary market research activities, participating in primary research projects etc.
  
  

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's degree, preference for marketing, business or statistics
• Master's degree in business/ Marketing / Statistics ideally with a specialization on Data Analytics & Market Research. Available for an internship from 4 to 6 month or in interim year, ideally in last year of study
• Previous internship experience in the field of Marketing / Data analytics / Business
• Fluent in English, other languages are an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, ability to work with different datasets from CRM (SFDC), ERP (SAP) and industry databases.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• SFDC / SAP / Power BI (or other data visualization tool).
• Healthcare / IVD industry
