We're now looking for an Accountant to take part in our accounting team. You will manage the ongoing accounting in various areas and will be responsible for parts in the monthly reconciliation and reporting. In this role you will collaborate cross-functionally with people across the company, to ensure that the financial results are reported correctly, timely and compliant.

You'll be part of a high-performing Finance Department of 9 people, who always do our best and help each other out.

Our vibrant 'Happy Crew' consists of 150 colorful and creative characters from all over the world (25+ nationalities, and counting).This role is placed at our Stockholm office where the majority of the Finance team is based. You'll also have a few colleagues in Germany and the US, which are our two biggest markets.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Shared accounting and reporting responsibility for the biggest legal entity in the Happy Socks Group
  • Shared responsibility for the ongoing accounting, account receivable and account payable
  • Monitoring payments
  • Other projects and ad hoc tasks

Requirements & Skills

  • Degree or equivalent in Accounting/Economics
  • 3+ years of experience from similar work, either as a accountant or similar work experience, experience from accounting firm is a big plus
  • Knowledge of closing procedures, accounting duties, account payable, and account receivables
  • Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken (any other language is a plus)
  • Experience from a bigger ERP system (preferably Business Central) is a plus
  • Have good MS office skills, especially Microsoft Excel is a plus
