Mölnlycke is now looking for a Product Developer to join our R&D Wound Care team out of our headquarters in Gothenburg.
About the job
As a Product Developer there is great opportunity and variety in activity day to day as you will work with the solution from idea to product launch.
The purpose of this position is to lead, execute and support the development and realization of new and enhanced wound care products/solutions to meet customer needs and to secure supply, compliance, and competitiveness. All the while keeping our business priorities of digitalisation, customer centricity and sustainability at the heart of what you do. We'll give you the challenges, skills and support to advance your career.
These will be your main key accountabilities
In this role you will lead design activities in the development process, from idea generation through realization until a finished product or solution.
You will translate customer and business needs into user needs and requirements and assess the environmental impact of our concepts and work with LCAs to develop sustainable products/solutions.
You will develop product documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. Medical Device Directive or FDA's QSR) and Mölnlycke's Quality Management System and you will ensure that the product design verification and validation activities are carried out.

What you'll need...
5 years' experience within product development
Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, life science or equivalent
Technical Knowledge in the medical device area
Knowledge of Global Regulatory Requirements and standards related to the medical device
Knowledge and experience of working with sustainable product development, utilising LCA as a methodology
Deep knowledge in working in a QMS and with Design control
Good communication skills
Fluent in English written and spoken
