Mölnlycke is currently seeking a Product Developer to join our R&D Wound Care team at our headquarters in Gothenburg.
About the role
As a Product Developer, your daily activities will offer substantial variety and opportunities as you guide solutions from conception to launch.
This position entails leading, executing, and supporting the development and enhancement of new wound care products to meet customer demands, ensure compliance, and maintain competitiveness. You will be expected to prioritize digitalization, customer focus, and sustainability while tackling these tasks. We provide you with challenges, skills, and assistance to progress in your career.
Primary responsibilities include
- Leading design activities throughout the development process, from idea generation to the final product or solution
- Translating customer and business needs into user requirements, assessing environmental impacts, and collaborating on LCAs for sustainable product development
- Creating product documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and ensuring proper design verification and validation activities

Requirements
5 years' experience in product development
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, life science, or similar
- Technical expertise in the medical device sector
- Knowledge of global regulatory requirements and medical device standards
- Experience in sustainable product development and familiarity with LCA methodology
- Proficiency in QMS and Design Control
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
