The Tax Director is a senior leader in the Electrolux Professional Group. The role is very broad and includes all types of tax matters globally such as transfer pricing, tax compliance, tax audit management, tax controlling, M&A and VAT.

Given the size of Electrolux Professional Group, at this moment, the role does not involve a team but is supported by the local country finance teams as well as external advisors. This means that besides being a very broad role, it also requires a very hands-on approach. As an example, one day presenting the effects of Pillar 2 to the Audit Committee and the other day helping to draft an internal service agreement.


• Monitor tax compliance of the group.


• Owner of the group's transfer pricing policy.


• Work with external advisers to complete the group's TP master file, local files, treasury file, etc.


• Tax controlling/tax accounting – quarterly closing review/analysis of the group's effective tax rate and preparation of the tax footnote in the annual report, as well as contacts with financial auditors.


• Participate in ongoing business changes to ensure compliance and best practice approach regarding tax and intra group flows.


• Lead M&A projects from a tax perspective.


• Manage extensive collaboration with other teams to ensure timely, accurate and thorough analysis and follow up of tax issues.


• Dealings with tax authorities and managing tax advisers.


• Manage the group's legal structure.


• Preparation of the Swedish parent company's corporate income tax return.


• CbCR reporting.


• Pillar 2/DAC6 compliance.


• Interpretation and communication of updates in the tax area, including providing recommendations to other function.


• Develop and ensure implementation and periodically follow up of the tax policy of the Electrolux Professional Group.


• Develop strong working relationships with the business teams and management as well as other group staff functions.


• Represent Electrolux Professional Group in various forums . Confederation of Swedish enterprises.


• Minimum 7-10 years of experience working with tax matters at a multinational company and/or at a Big 4,


• Master/bachelor degree in Finance or Law.


• Extensive experience in transfer pricing and tax controlling.


• Ability to solve unstructured tax problems and lead multiple priorities with little day-to-day direction.


• Ability to explain complex tax issues in a way that non-tax professionals can understand, enabling better decision-making across the organisation.


• Knowledge and experience of participating in negotiations or dealings with tax authorities is recommended


• Required language: English and Swedish.
