Homestay Coordinator

• Ensures that targets for homestay recruitment are met whilst improving the quality of homestay provision.
• Full-time, 5 days per week including weekends where required
• Reporting to the Accommodation Lead

OBJECTIVES:

• To ensure there are adequate homestay beds to accommodate our peak season
• To strive to improve the quality of our homestay provision
• To maintain EF policies, accreditation criteria and Golden Rules
• To provide the highest level of customer service at all times
• To strive to continually improve customer evaluations of homestay
• To help maintain 'one team', where the different departments liaise and interact effectively and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promptly follow-up on all enquiries from prospective hosts
• Ensures current host family enquiries and calls are answered promptly
• Assists with the creation and maintenance of the homestay recruitment plan to ensure recruitment targets are met within deadlines
• Works off-site for promotional recruitment actions and plans a rota for the team of recruitment activities requiring work off-site
• Visits prospective hosts to determine their suitability and completes visit forms with great attention to detail
• Collects all relevant paperwork during homestay visits, chases up anything missing and properly files all paperwork
• Works within the EF Golden Rules framework
• Assists with recruitment and induction of new members of staff to the Homestay Accommodation team
• Assists with student queries providing excellent customer service at all times and ensuring all queries are followed up to a satisfactory conclusion.
• Answers sales office queries regarding accommodation issues
• Attends Monthly departmental meetings, and school/central meetings as and when required
• Is on the ROTA for the school Emergency Phone
