We are in need of a content moderator for our gaming client based in Stockholm. If you are passionate about gaming and Java Edition, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

Start Date: June

Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension

Location: On-site in Stockholm 2-3 days a week

As a Content Moderator at Java Creators, your main responsibility will be to review and manage user-submitted gaming content to ensure top-notch quality for the Java Edition gaming community. You will work closely with the Community Coordinator to represent Content Creators internally, fostering a positive and engaging community within maps.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing the content release pipeline and process, including escalations, scheduling releases, and maintaining documentation and guidelines
  • Coordinating and overseeing the release of Java Creator Content
  • Handling external communications for new Java Creator content releases with studio stakeholders
  • Building and expanding a thriving community of Java Creators through positive engagement and community activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in software testing, QA, or technically-oriented customer support
  • Ability to provide clear and constructive feedback to creators for improvement
  • Extensive knowledge of computer or console games, particularly sandbox games
  • Familiarity with our systems, core gameplay loop, and player community
  • Excellent communication skills for small team dynamics and cross-functional collaboration
  • Near-native proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Understanding of what makes games enjoyable, functional, and user-friendly
  • Proficiency with communication and collaboration tools like Slack, Microsoft Office, and Azure DevOps
