  • GIA supports Telia in achieving its goals by implementing a systematic, disciplined, and flexible approach to evaluate and enhance the organization's governance, risk management, and internal control.
  • GIA is focused on establishing itself as a trusted advisor and business ally. Organized into two primary competence areas, 'Technology & Security' and 'Business & Finance,' this role will concentrate on audits within the 'Technology & Security' domain, with opportunities for involvement in Business & Finance audits to diversify your skills.

About the Position

  • This role, based in Telia headquarters in Solna, Stockholm (preferred), or in alternate locations in Vilnius, Lithuania, or Helsinki, Finland, offers a senior position with high visibility company-wide.
  • Reporting to Roger Winberg, who leads the 'Technology & Security' section of GIA, you will play a pivotal role in driving organizational change and guiding business operations towards efficient risk management within set boundaries.

With your expertise, you will mentor internal stakeholders to emphasize the crucial role they play in upholding robust internal controls, managing risks, enhancing operational efficiency, and safeguarding our stakeholders.

The role encompasses, but is not restricted to:

As an Internal Auditor, your responsibilities include planning and executing audits in IT, security, operations, and transformation. You will identify gaps, root causes, areas for enhancement in governance, risk management, and internal control.

You will provide practical recommendations to senior leaders, present detailed audit reports documenting findings, including action plans. Your recommendations will target improving efficiency, effectiveness, quality, compliance, or profitability in alignment with organizational strategy and goals.

Your Experience:

  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent required (master's degree preferred)
  • Knowledge of IT and security, preferably hands-on experience
  • Experience in IT audit, internal controls, corporate governance, or risk management
  • Business acumen, particularly within Telecom, and Nordic or Baltic business exposure a plus
  • Certifications such as CISA, CIA, or other relevant certifications highly regarded
