Job Summary: Flex Power Modules develops and produces world-class power modules for Datacenter, Telecom, and AI applications with a global footprint and engagement. We specialize in DC/DC, PoL (point of load) products, and continually innovate new platforms for our customers. The Kalmar design center is undergoing significant expansion to develop power modules for cutting-edge AI designs in collaboration with major industry players. We work closely with customers to align their requirements with our quality assurance plan, which may involve updating existing tests or creating new test methods. Quality and environmental tests are conducted at our facilities at the Kalmar R&D site.

Tasks:

At the R&D center in Kalmar, a new reliability team will be established. You will work alongside a project leader, another reliability engineer, and an electronic hardware fault analyzer. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Interacting with quality departments at our key customers in the data and telecom industry.
  2. Collaborating with quality and reliability test engineers and product design teams in Kalmar and Shanghai.
  3. Engaging in customer interactions to align requirements with our quality assurance plan.
  4. Assisting customers in certain RMA cases through analyses and investigations.
  5. Maintaining knowledge of relevant standards for our operations.
  6. Proposing changes in qualifications tests to meet standards and customer needs.
  7. Performing reliability calculations using theoretical and statistical methods.
  8. Coordinating with our RMA management team.

The experience we're looking for:

  1. M.Sc in electronics or a related field.
  2. Experience in quality assurance and customer relations.
  3. Proficiency in Swedish and English.
  4. Knowledge of IPC or other relevant standards for electronic devices.
  5. Understanding of calculation of demonstrated MTBF.
  6. Familiarity with Telcordia or similar reliability standards.
  7. Experience in RMA management is a plus.
