Mutti Nordic has since the start 2018 been acting as an agent in all the Nordic countries either through importers or direct with retail and Horeca customer. Now they are preparing for taking the next step in the growth of their team. To continue the fruitful journey Mutti Nordic is now looking for a Finance Manager. In this challenging but rewarding role you will take lead on transitioning the finance function from an outsourced partner and central position to a local position with ownership of the Nordic reporting, forecasts and budgets. You will be working very close to the Nordics General Manager and in close dialogue with the engaging, highly skilled Nordic commercial team. You will also secure a close cooperation with the team in Mutti's Headquarters in Italy, becoming an important link to the central finance department there.

Your main responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounting functions including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, assets, banks.

• Help with monthly financial closing process ensuring a timely and accurate delivery of reporting data;

• Work with Tax and Accounting services provider to ensure correct and timely closing of financial statements at year-end;

• Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness, ensuring correct competence and cost allocation

• Support HQ with audit and annual controls

• Balance sheet reconciliations

• Management of customers and suppliers payments

• Supervision of customer reminder activities and management of any overdue

• Financial forecasting

• Management of bank relationships and reconciliation

• Monitoring and verifying the correct fulfillment of tax obligations

• Keeping of corporate books and tax documentation according to local legislation and in accordance with our Tax and Accounting partners

• Ensure proper application of intercompany policies

• Overseeing tax and accounting workflows to ensure correct customer transactions and invoicing process

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within finance operations, streamlining processes, and enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

• Collaborate with management and internal stakeholders to support decision-making and achieve financial objectives.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and internal controls, coordinating with auditors as needed to maintain financial integrity.

• Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, such as currency exchange risk, market fluctuations, and regulatory compliance

You are a confident person with relevant experience from similar financial positions. We believe that you have experience from implementing financial processes and have the confidence to educate and challenge an organisation to optimize their finance department. It is a big merit if you have experience from working with SAP implementation.

We are looking for a person with broad financial expertise, that can tell the rest of us "how to do it". Your base is experience from working a few years with similar tasks preferably within an FMCG organization in an international setting. As the first person in the local finance team you will be important both as a source of knowledge in your field but also a team player and the link to the Finance Team at HQ in Italy. Mutti has built a Nordic organisation that stand strong together, a place where it is enjoyable to work. You will be a natural part in this continuous creation.

In line with the mission of developing the Finance function for Mutti in the Nordics you do not mind travelling when necessary. With four countries of responsibility and the headquarter in Italy you will probably have some planned traveling from time to time. Your English is naturally excellent and you speak Swedish fluently, knowledge of Italian language is a plus. You have an academic degree in business, with a concentration in accounting.
