Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across our global organization. You will work closely with stakeholders from various departments to understand business requirements, design efficient data models, and develop insightful dashboards and reports.

Key responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our business intelligence environment.
  • Build and maintain robust data models and data structures to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Optimize BI solutions for performance and usability, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BI applications and data-related issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and hands-on experience in data modeling techniques specifically within the Microsoft Azure environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address data quality issues, discrepancies, or gaps.
  • Understanding of business processes and requirements across different functional areas.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to create clear and concise documentation for BI solutions, reports, and dashboards.
  • You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Location is primarily Borlänge. The right skills are most important, and we can therefore also consider locations in Stockholm or Oslo.
