About the position

As a Network Specialist atSSAB EMEA AB, you will belong to the Global Network Connectivity Team – consistingof Network Architects, Service Managers and Network Specialists. The team islocated across Sweden, Finland, and the US. As a Network Specialist, you willmainly be responsible for providing technical guidance and support for ourinfrastructure within the Network area. Troubleshooting and resolving technicalissues as needed. Interface with other teams to both manage and assist withprojects or activities. Create and update documentation for the technology areaand related environments.

Main responsibilities

Monitoring the performance ofthe Network infrastructure and taking corrective action according to the agreedservice offerings. Providing technical guidanceand support to team members and stakeholders as needed. Managing the life cycle of Network and planning for upgrades andreplacements as needed. Collaborating with theInfrastructure Architects to identify the hardware and software requirementsfor the organization's infrastructure. Troubleshooting and resolvingtechnical issues according to agreed service levels. In cooperation with internal and external resources develop ourofferings.

About You

Cisco CCNP certification orequivalent knowledge and experience in Cisco enterprise networking solutions. Strong understanding ofnetworking protocols and technologies Team-oriented and skilled inworking within a collaborative environment.  Have a high understand of howto perform your work in a safe way.  Good written, oral, andinterpersonal communication skills in Swedish and English.  Ability to effectivelyprioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Ability to conduct research into technology area and products asrequired. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendlylanguage. Proven analytical andproblem-solving abilities.
