Job Description

Within our IT team, you will engage in intricate problem-solving for high-tech systems. As a consultant at Segula, you will delve into Java programming, construct automated CI/CD pipelines, and craft cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent platforms for our clients. Whether collaborating directly with customers or participating in team projects, you will have a say in selecting the assignments that pique your interest. If you crave growth, this position is tailored for you.

To excel as a java developer, we envision you as an inquisitive individual propelled by technical conundrums and adept at crafting impeccable code. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and sharing insights with teammates is second nature. Offering solution enhancements and providing consultative advice to clients are tasks you handle with ease.

Qualifications

  • in computer science, software engineering, electronics or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of software development experience primarily in Java.
  • Proficiency in at least one cloud platform like AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, REST, JSON.
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Understanding of software validation, test development, and unit testing.
  • Proficiency in quality assurance techniques like unit and integration testing.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Valid work permit in Sweden.

Additional Information

Meritorious:

  • Experience with C++, Python.
  • Background in the automotive sector.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodology.
  • Experience in web development using JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, Angular.
  • Proficiency in frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Java EE.
  • Promotes clean coding practices.
  • Proficiency in the Swedish language is highly advantageous.
