Deverything is looking for an experienced developer who has experience from working in agile teams, who understands the value of test-driven development and that continuous delivery leads to quality and good output. Your code follows the SOLID principles and you have no trouble separating your components from web services. You are no stranger to Software as a Service (SaaS) and have experience in Cloud, developing APIs for consumers, and have extensive knowledge of Java Web services. Today, most of our assignments are within automotive, telecom, and aerospace industries.

A Typical Week
  1. You'll brainstorm with Product Owners and Architects to conceptualize new features
  2. You'll collaborate with other software engineers in an agile environment
  3. You'll learn about new web technologies and discuss potential solutions to problems
  4. You'll mentor other engineers and review code
  5. You'll continuously deliver software to AWS, even in production
Qualifications

To qualify for the role of a Senior Java developer at Deverything, you have post-secondary education in Computer Science/Computer Engineering. You have several years of work experience in software development in Java. Besides the above, you have good knowledge of English, both in speech and writing.

Furthermore, you have documented experience from:

  1. Java 11+
  2. Spring 4+
  3. Spring Boot 2+
  4. Container management (Docker or similar)
  5. JPA / Hibernate
  6. Message queues (JMS, AWS SQS, Kafka)
  7. Consuming and exposing REST web services from Java
  8. JUnit 4 or 5
  9. Mock framework (Mockito / EasyMock)
  10. Maven
  11. Relational databases (Oracle / MS SQL Server / MySql)
  12. CI Pipeline configuration (Jenkins, Github Actions, Gitlab or similar)
  13. Version control (Git)
  14. OpenAPI specifications
  15. Cloud deployment (AWS, Google, Azure)

It is a plus (but not a requirement) if you have experience from:

  1. Liquibase
  2. NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB or similar)
  3. Python or other languages
  4. Monitoring (Prometheus or similar)
  5. Test frameworks within Security, Integration and Load tests
  6. Automation frameworks (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, CloudFormation)
