Join us as a COSC Customs Specialist at the Customs Operations Support Centre. Your primary responsibility will involve accurately submitting import declarations through a digital platform in direct communication with Customs Authorities across various countries. Ensuring seamless communication and support among different IKEA units, external service providers, and governmental bodies in Europe is crucial to guarantee timely, precise, and compliant entries based on customs regulations. Additionally, you'll be tasked with addressing and resolving diverse issues to ensure adherence to customs legislation in each country. Your input towards enhancing our operational methods and achieving departmental objectives will be highly valued.

About You

Service-oriented with excellent communication skills, you thrive in a structured environment, whether working independently, collaboratively, or engaging with stakeholders. A penchant for routine tasks in a fast-paced setting, strong prioritization skills, keen attention to detail, and a focus on achieving set objectives and rectifying deviations are essential.

You should have:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
  • Proficiency in utilizing digital IT platforms
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • A valid work permit for Sweden

We expect you to bring:

  • Background in customs, import operations, logistics, or supply chain through experience or education
  • A deep appreciation for IKEA's Culture & Values
