The electrical team at Bosch, Tranås, Sweden, is searching for an intern to work on harness design, constructing samples, prototypes, electrical testing, and certification tasks. As an intern, you will assist the team in both practical and theoretical assignments and be encouraged to take initiative independently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing heat pumps in a lab setting, conducting tests, and preparing reports
  • Analyzing internal/external requirements to define electrical needs based on safety, legal, functional, and cost aspects
  • Building harness samples, integrating various electrical components in heat pumps
  • Assisting in analyzing and resolving electrical issues in the lab
  • Developing or updating cable harnesses in Siemens NX
  • Supporting in EMC testing in a 5m SAC EMC chamber or conducting EMC tests outside the chamber
  • Travelling to test facilities to aid colleagues in external testing
  • Assisting in creating and gathering inputs for project timelines
  • Preparing presentations using PowerPoint

Internship duration: 6 months, with a preference for a start in August/September 2024

Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in an electrical engineering, physics, or related field, or
  • Alternatively, studying mechanical engineering with some electrical knowledge, such as handling test equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.
  • Proficient in written and verbal English communication
