Responsibilities

  • Working under an Audio lead, you will contribute to a specific area of a project's sound design, both creatively and technically, with the option to explore new areas based on your choice and skills.
  • Creating content in line with existing designs and integrating it into the game using our Frostbite engine.
  • Refining content through playtesting and feedback sessions, ensuring quality, relevancy, and optimization while eliminating bugs and errors.
  • Providing and responding to audio feedback within the Audio team, actively mixing assets, and contributing to the overall mix.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled at a university or educational institution with an internship period planned, such as LiA.
  • Eligible to work in Stockholm, Sweden, without requiring visa or relocation support.
  • Available to commence in September 2024.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in sound design and implementing assets into a game engine, from both creative and technical perspectives.
  • Passion for enhancing game audio production, implementation, and engineering skills.
  • Proficiency in using modern studio hardware, editing techniques, and software like Pro Tools, Reaper, Sound Forge, Waves, FabFilter, IzoTope RX.
  • Excellent 'critical listening' abilities.
  • Portfolio showcasing artistic, narrative, and creative capabilities.
  • Familiarity with audio middleware such as WWISE, Unreal, and META sounds.
  • Knowledge of graphical audio programming, like Reaktor, Max-MSP, Pure Data, is advantageous.
