ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Head of IT E2E Architecture and Solution Management, you will be responsible for leading our organization's architecture and solution management. You will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of architectural standards, practices, and solutions that align with our business objectives and technological goals. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of both technical architecture principles, operations, and business requirements.

As a member of the IT LT team within DCT, you will be an expert in working with architecture and solutions to inspire people and companies to seize digital and use it to the max.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for architecture and solution management aligned with the organization's objectives. Lead the architecture team in driving innovation and maintaining technological excellence.
• Architectural Design and Standards: Define and maintain architectural standards, principles, and guidelines to ensure consistency, scalability, and security across all projects and systems. Drive the adoption of best practices and emerging technologies.
• Solution Development and Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions that meet business needs. Ensure alignment between architectural decisions and project requirements.
• Technology Evaluation and Selection: Evaluate new technologies, tools, and platforms to determine their suitability for the organization's needs. Make recommendations for technology adoption, considering factors such as performance, scalability, and compatibility.
• Risk Management: Identify architectural risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, security standards, and industry best practices.
• Team Management and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of architects and solution managers. Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement within the architecture function.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders, and other IT teams to understand their needs and priorities. Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on architectural decisions and strategic direction.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and consulting firms. Evaluate vendor solutions and negotiate contracts to ensure value for the organization.
• Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the architecture and solution management budget. Allocate resources effectively to support ongoing initiatives and future projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role in architecture, solution management, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
• Strong technical background with expertise in cloud computing, microservices architecture, data management, and integration technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinking with a focus on business outcomes and value delivery.
• Experience in managing large-scale, complex IT projects and initiatives.
• Knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architecture and solution management.
• Proven ability to drive change and innovation within an organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in industries such as Telecom, finance, or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with managing teams to handle solution management in relation to solution architecture, problem management and operations (IPC).
