Subject Matter Expert in Anti Money Laundry area

We are now looking for an IT Senior Operation Specialist who will secure Financial Crime Prevention solutions and compliance within applications and processes, in order to cater for business and technology objectives and needs.

Welcome to the Transaction Monitoring Application Mgmt. team. As the IT Senior Operation Specialist, you will be working with skilled, international teams in a fast-paced and inspiring environment, you will play a role in building the best Bank that serves our customers' changing needs - through innovative solutions, collaboration, and partnering with fintech's. You will contribute with your skills and engagement in managing and performing application ownership capabilities in Nordea's continued fight against financial crime.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Design and implement automation features for more efficient and secure application portfolio management
  2. Prepare and maintain technical documentation about all services and environments which are in scope of Application Maintenance team
  3. Provide technical expertise on complex technical issues
  4. Guide other team members and project stakeholders to ensure the content of deliverables is accurate, optimized and secured
  5. Be proactive and engaged in initiatives related to AML technical domain
  6. Make recommendations for technology infrastructure, software, and equipment
  7. Drive and coordinate maintenance activities such as: software upgrade, license renewals, hardware ordering and decommissioning, patching and vulnerability process, etc.

Your experience and background:

  1. Relevant university degree (IT, Engineering, data science, mathematics, or similar)
  2. Excellent communication skills with a very good level of English
  3. Good organizational skills
  4. 2+ years' experience working with DevOps model and SAFe methods (SAFe certificate is a plus)
  5. Data Base extensive knowledge (MS SQL, Oracle, DB2)
  6. Expert in monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics and Grafana
  7. Practical experience in configuration management: Ansible
  8. Practical experience with Docker/ ESP/ Kubernetes containers
  9. Experience in maintaining BEA NetReveal AML Platform
  10. Anti-Money Laundry business process and banking domain experience 2+ years
  11. Anti-Money Laundry Nordea solution and data flow as an advantage
  12. Experience in Windows and Linux server administration and you possess basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
  13. Familiar with office project tools like Jira and Confluence

You'll join the IT Application Management Team. The role requires close collaboration with DevOps teams, Infrastructure, Release Management, Business Support teams and across Group Financial Crime Prevention division and Nordea in general. The role is based in Stockholm.
