Join our team:
Our team at the R&D Department METS in Lund is in search of individuals with strong leadership experience and a profound interest in technology. This could be your chance to build and lead a highly skilled, high-performing team.

Team overview:
Our product lineup includes Thermal Imaging Cameras, Explosion-Protected Products, and Specialty Cameras. The Tech Team within METS comprises 12 engineers who work with cutting-edge technology, focusing on thermal image processing, architecture, algorithms, sensor technology, optics, and visual cameras.

Your role as an Engineering Manager:
As an Engineering Manager, you will oversee and enhance the daily operations of your team. This involves coaching team members to ensure they possess the necessary skills for personal and professional growth. You will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to deliver technology solutions aligned with our strategic plans for success. Additionally, your role will involve personnel management, project collaboration, strategic planning, and implementation of new technologies.

  • Recruitment, salary reviews, and budget management
  • Collaboration with project leaders and product managers
  • Participation in strategic discussions and project setups for new technologies

Your qualifications:
We are looking for a natural leader with a positive management style, a genuine interest in hardware development, and a knack for building strong relationships. You should have an engineering background, experience in line management within a technology-focused setting, and previous involvement in product development.
